The processing time for a work visa depends on the type of employment, the candidate’s nationality, and the completeness of the required documents.
For citizens of CIS countries, the process usually includes several stages: obtaining a work and residence permit, processing the application by the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND), and, if required, obtaining an MVV entry visa.
In standard cases, the application processing time can take up to 90 days. After a positive decision, the MVV is usually issued within 10 working days.
The overall processing time may be affected by additional checks, requests for additional documents, or a high workload at the relevant government authorities.
